Accessibility statement
Last updated: June 2026
Accessibility is a core part of how we design Aera. Many of the people we serve are older adults, and we build for that from the start.
Our commitments
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across our website and program, and we target the stronger AAA contrast level for the main reading text on patient-facing pages. In practice that means large, readable type, strong color contrast, clear focus indicators, full keyboard operability, and support for screen readers.
Designed for older adults
We use large text, plain language, generous spacing, and large touch targets, and we offer an optional voice assistant that can read content aloud and guide you hands-free.
Feedback & accommodations
If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need an accommodation, please email access@aerahealth.us and we’ll work with you to resolve it.
